DAX set to open lower this morning after setting a record close yesterday

Yesterday the DAX closed above 17k, but prior to that it did not not take out the existing high at 17,049. The high seen on the session was at 17,042. The index later closed at 17,037. That was a record close for the German benchmark. However, the later fall back in the Nasdaq 100 and S+P 500 indexes dented the DAX futures and they have not recovered so far today. Hence, the index is priced to reopen this morning at below 17k. It might rebound from there when live trading resumes, but currently there is not much that surrounds it right now to suggest that. The other thing to note is the German ZEW index. That is due after the opening this morning, at 10am GMT. This report might have an impact on the DAX later this morning. The DAX is just now priced to reopen at around 16,985
