DAX set to open higher this morning

Yesterday, as noted here at the time, the rebound in the DAX from a session low at 14,948, saw the index rise to as high as 15,174. However, it was not able to hold all that gain into the European close and later ended the session with a very modest 0.10% rise. The DAX closed just 14 points higher, at 15,099. The rebound in Asian stocks today (ex-China) has helped the opening outlook this morning, as has the gains in the Nasdaq 100 last night. The slump in oil prices has surely had an impact on the DAX too, remembering that Germany has no oil. The current futures price is indicating a reopening at around 15,145
