DAX set to open higher any minute
The DAX rebounded from a session low yesterday, at 19,145. That rebound did not deliver a higher close though. The index ended the day, 34 points lower, at 19,261. However, it will very shortly reopen and it is going to be a higher opening for the index this morning. The current indication on that is for the index to kick-off the session at around 19,335. The news flow is slight so far this morning and much could depend on a whole raft of regional German CPI data due to be released throughout the morning, commencing from 9am GMT onwards. We shall see, if that has an impact and how it affects the price action on the DAX. Also to remember where we are in the calendar today and that later US close too.
