DAX at risk of topping out big time with Futures lower this morning

Yesterday the DAX led the European losses. The index closed 1.13% lower on the day. That compared to a 1.10% loss for the CAC 40 and 0.73% for the FTSE 100. The DAX further rejected a new all time record high this week too, when it ended the session at 19,257, with a loss of 220 points on the day. The index further rejected attempts earlier this week to reach a new record high above 19, 674. It is also worth noting here; the index has risen more than 30% so far this year which is mighty impressive given where the German economy is right now. So, as the DAX futures eye a lower opening this morning, it is worth asking the question- has the index now topped out for the rest of the year? Well, that could be the case and there is a clear risk for DAX bulls of that. The index is right now priced to reopen soon, at around 19,140
