DAX reopens below 19k
The DAX handed back 149 points yesterday, but narrowly avoided a close below 19k, when ending the session at 19,015. The low seen on the day was set at 18,964. The index has just now reopened and it has kicked off below 19k this morning and also fallen below the low point seen yesterday and that is not especially positive in terms of immediate direction. The move lower comes amid a general sea of modest red across the European markets on the opening today, where only the Italian FTSE MIB seems to be making any headway right now. The DAX is currently trading at 18,965
