DAX in the red in early trading as CAC 40 slides
Well, it is not much of a surprise to see the downside in focus here in Europe in the first 20-30 minutes of live trade after the opening. The CAC 40 has now fallen close to the 7,550 mark and the only question right now from this analyst; is when will it take out the current interim low act 7,450? Not long it seems at the current pace. The losses in the CAC are weighing on the DAX and the German benchmark has now fallen below 18,400. The FTSE 100 is below 8,200 and similarly impacted by the French market losses. The DAX is now falling towards 18,350 and the contrast between the US and Japan and Europe right now is stark. The price action in the DAX is choppy though and 20-30 points can some and go in very rapid fashion. The index is currently around 100 points in the red, trading just now at 18,375
