DAX rebounds as FTSE 100 languishes under higher bond yields

Since an earlier update this morning the UK bond markets have fallen back a bit more and that has pushed the UK 10 year yield back above 4.40%, The high seen there so far has been set at 4.4% That is keeping the FTSE 100 under wraps and not allowing much in the way of any rebound yet. At the same time, the DAX has lifted from its earlier session low, at 19,094. The DAX has rebounded to above 19,175 a moment ago. Meantime, the FTSE 100 hit a session low earlier today at 8,094, which was not much above the noted 200 day moving average, in place at 8.079. The index is off that low just now, but not by very much yet. So, it is worth keeping an eye on those UK yields for further clues on the price action. The FTSE 100 is currently trading at 8,102
