DAX rebounds after the opening but will it last?
As noted here earlier today, the DAX closed yesterday at 22,425. Prior to the opening the DAX futures were pricing it as low as 22,250, but in the event the index actually reopened at 22,362. That lower opening was immediately recovered and the index has since moved back close to where it ended yesterday. The high seen so far has been set at 22,419. The index is off that earlier high now and the question here; will it hold below that prior close and turn lower again, or will it rebound above that and push towards 22,500 once more? Hard to assess right now, but the immediate observation is; this rebound could be technical, as is often the case, when it comes to opening price action compared to previous daily closing levels. We shall have to see on that as the session unfolds. The DAX is right now trading at 22,395
