DAX rebound extends after opening but can it reclaim 18,500?

The French stock market may not be making much progress right now, but the FTSE 100 and the DAX are continuing to push higher. The FTSE is just now edging above the 8,200 handle and the DAX is rebounding closer to the 18,500 level. The DAX closed yesterday at 18,369 after falling close to 18,275. The index reopened effectively today above 18,400 and since the opening it has continued to push higher, and right now not far off testing that 18,500 level. That could be a price point that provides resistance through and perhaps we might shortly see just now much of that is in place there. The DAX is currently trading at 18,488
