DAX reaches a new all time record high above 17k
Further to a slightly earlier update, the DAX has now risen more dynamically, above the current all time high at 17,004. The move higher has just extended to above 17,040 and it might have further to run ahead of the close this afternoon. In that previous update on the index, the question was asked, as to whether or not the index could post its first ever daily close above 17k. Well, right at this very minute if looks even more possible and perhaps more likely than it did just an hour or so ago. However, we shall have to wait and see until after 4.30pm GMT, to see if that does, or does not materialise. The DAX is just now trading at around 17,030
