DAX pushes to set fresh records above 19k

Since the last update on the German stock market, the DAX has now forced its way into the record books, rising above 19,000 for the first time ever today. The index is close to session highs, around 19,015 as this update is typed. So, now it has pushed its way further into uncharted territory it is hard to plot exactly where the next resting point might be. The US stock markets (apart from the Nasdaq) look like setting record opening highs this afternoon, providing there is no significant pullback in the next couple of hours and that is helping the DAX to forge onwards and upwards.
