DAX pretty steady as ECB decision looms

Both the CAC 40 and the DAX are pretty much flat on the session right now, with around 20 minutes to go before the ECB releases their final monetary policy decision of the year. It seems the markets are rather uncertain as to what to expect from the European Central Bank. That might be due to the larger than forecast SNB rate cut earlier. Of course the bigger the ECB cut the more supportive that should be for stocks. Perhaps the DAX price action is telling us we will not get that and a 0.25% would be more likely? Anyway, shortly we will find out what it is. So, the DAX opened higher today, at 20,440 today and the high seen just after that was only at 20,450. The low seen since that has been at 20,388. The index closed last night at 20,399. So, as you can see, it is currently trading fractionally in positive territory, just now at 20,405
