DAX pressing higher again as records come closer into view
Well, it was a rather uncertain start to the new week for the European equity markets, but since wobbling at the opening the vista is more positive now. That has seen the DAX lift to fresh rebound highs and once again take a step closer to its all time high, at 16,528. It does look increasingly likely that the bulls want to see this reached before the year is out and I refer to a headline here last week regarding a Santa Claus rally for the German index. The DAX has now surpassed the high seen on Friday, as it lifts above 16,450 a moment ago
