DAX powers to a new record above 19,725 following ECB comments
The DAX has not long ago lifted above the highs seen on Friday and above the record high at 19,674. The index has gotten a boost from recent ECB comments, suggesting a larger than 0.25% rate cut might be coming in the next couple of weeks (December 12). The move higher in the DAX was something highlighted here earlier today and it has come as even the CAC 40 rebounds for the same reasons, back above the 7,200 handle. The noted and important level now definitely on the radar for the DAX is at 19,862. Please refer to the earlier update on the index for more detail on that. So, the DAX has now set a new record high today, above 19,725 and it might not be finished with yet. We shall see as the morning unfolds
