DAX outperforms to set fresh record close

Yesterday there was no real pullback in the DAX ahead of the close. As noted before then, the index has reached another fresh record high, at 18,285. It did not get past that, but still set a new record close, at 18,261. That gain of 55 points on the session compared to modest losses for the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40. Overnight the DAX futures are not much changed and certainly not pricing a lower opening at this stage. There are no German of Eurozone data releases today to alter the trajectory. The RSI is not much changed, but it is slightly more elevated than at this time yesterday, currently at around 83 on a 14 day basis. So, that indicates a correction could come at any time, but it is not certain yet to do so. The index is just now priced to reopen at around 18,270
