DAX opens lower but not as low as it might have
The DAX has just reopened and it has been a lower start to the day. However, it could have been much lower because at one point the DAX futures were pricing it towards 17,250. The index had closed yesterday at 17,615, with a gain of 260 points on the session. It has just kicked off above 17,525, but once again the price action remains volatile and sporadic at times. The overall direction remains uncertain and very much linked to the wider market ebbs and flows. Much will depend on the oath of the US and Japanese equity futures this morning. The DAX is just now edging a little lower and back towards the 17,500 handle
