DAX opens lower following technically negative close on Friday
The DAX closed on Friday at 20,405. As noted here earlier, that was a slightly lower close on the day, down by 20 points. Earlier in the day the index had set a new all time high, at 20,522 and technically that close was not positive and once again we had another outside day reversal. The index has just this minute reopens for live trade and it has been a lower start to the new week. The DAX has just this minute kicked off below 20,375. The German PMI data (at 8.30am GMT) will be important in terms how this early session price action plays out this morning. The index is right now trading around 20,365
