DAX opens higher
As noted here in the previous update, the DAX managed to force out a modestly higher close yesterday. The index gained 38 points, to close at 15,786 and that made it the best performing major European stock market index on the day. The index has just now reopened for the final live session of the week and it has been a higher start to the day, with the index resuming live trade above 15,825. The FTSE 100 has opened higher too, but in both cases, it remains to be seen if this will be maintained as the morning unfolds. The DAX is just now trading at around 15,835
