DAX not so hot on the opening today
The European stock markets have been open for around 25 minutes and so far the vista is a little red. The FTSE 100 has edged lower and so has the DAX. The DAX officially reopened at 15,915 today, but could not yet make any progress. Of course it is very early in the day and the current price action and direction is far from certain. Besides, we are talking small moves so far and nothing yet of any consequence. Beyond the short term, the 16k handle is still on the radar this week and the market trend is clearly higher. Of course there will be many swings, especially by the end of the week, when conditions will become less liquid, due to the US holidays. The DAX is just now trading at 15,895
