DAX makes it above 16,700 again this morning but new record proves elusive so far
The DAX has risen to above 16,700 now today. However, it has not managed to set a new all time high yet and seems to seeing some resistance around the 16,710 mark so far. The high seen so far today has been set at 16,711. That does not detract from the prospect, or possibility, that the index could reach a new all time high today and clearly the buyers are back in control of the price action again for the time being. To remind readers once more, that all time high was reached on Wednesday, at 16,727. The index is just now trading at 16,702
