DAX lifts to new record above 20,300
There is little holding back the DAX so far today. The index has now lifted above the 20,300 level after surprising the previous record higher earlier this morning. The move higher comes as the CAC 40 stalls ahead of 7,350 and the FTSE 100 is still struggling for traction. The dollar is not much changed versus Europe but a little higher versus the Yen. The DAX has just now lifted to set a new all time high around 20,325. It is currently trading at 20,310, as it continues to attract hot European money flow
