DAX lifts from lows close to 18,800 as US markets open in the red

The US stock markets have just reopened and of course it has been a lower opening across all three major indexes. At the same time, here in Europe the major indexes have fallen back further and that has seen the DAX almost fall below 18,800. The FTSE 100 is closing in on the 8,050 level and the CAC 40 in a similar position. The DAX just now hit a fresh session low close to 18,800, but it is trying to rebound right now. The level of volatility is increasing as each hour passes it seems and you are again referred to what was said about that in the previous update. The DAX is right now at 18,898
