DAX lifts from a brief look below 21 day moving average

As noted here earlier, the 21 day moving average on the DAX was very much on the radar, after the index opened sharply lower. That was in place at 18,100. It has now shifted, to stand at 18,096. Well, earlier the further downside in the DAX saw it trade briefly below that technical level. The low seen was set at 18,088, which suggests perhaps some stops might have been in place just below the level. The rebound that has ensued has rather confirmed that, although the rebound itself is hardly conclusive at this stage. The DAX is currently trading at 18,135
