DAX lifts after uncertain opening

The DAX has been open now for around 35 minutes and despite a rather uncertain start to the session, the index has now lifted heading into the IFO report (8am GMT). The DAX officially reopened today at 18,703, after closing on Friday at 18,693. The earlier low was set at 18,680. It is now pressing to session highs above 18,725, but of course the IFO data could have an impact in determining whether or not the index can rise further today. The CAC 40 is also a little higher this morning and so are the FTSE 100 futures, but there is no doubt; that activity across all these markets is being curtailed due to the closures in the UK and the US later on. The DAX is currently trading at 18,728
