DAX lifts above 23k as US futures push higher
The previous update here noted how the DAX was still moving forward and potentially making a move above 23k. Well, that is what it has just now done. The index has just pushed towards 23,050, but it was just backing away from that high a bit a moment ago. That is understandable. To be honest I have been looking back through the charts in an attempt to see, if it has ever enjoyed a greater than 14 day unbroken run of higher daily closes and it seems it did that in 2024, when it closed for 16 days consecutively higher. So, why not today then? It looks that way right now. The index is currently trading at 23,045
