The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been a record opening for the CAC 40 and the DAX indexes. In fact the DAX has just nosed above that 18k level on the opening, but the price action is a little sticky around that level in early trade. That should not come as a surprise, because this is uncharted territory and a major milestone too. At the same time, the FTSE 100 appears to be struggling again for the time being. The latest Spanish inflation data has proved to be sticky too and not really of much impact in the wider sense either. The DAX is currently trading at 18,004
