DAX leads the way in Europe again
Yesterday saw another good day for the European stock markets unfold. Once again it was the DAX that led the gains amongst the major indexes. The German benchmark closed 0.86% higher, leading the FTSE 100, with a 0.62% rise and the CAC 40, with a gain of 0.33% on the session. The DAX closed 133 points higher, at 15,748. That was pretty close to the session high at 15,759. The markets seem evermore convinced; that the ECB is done and dusted with further rate increases and the weaker the economic data emerges from the EU, it seems the more that fans gains for the DAX right now, as perverse as that might seem. The DAX futures are not far removed from that closing level right now ahead of the European opening this morning.
