DAX leads the pack again on Friday but will it do so today?
The DAX was the best performing major European stock market index on Friday. The DAX gained 1.12%, closing 182 points higher, at 16,397. It came very close to rising above 16,400 too, with the high on the session at 16,399. The index will shortly kick off the new week and right now the DAX futures are pricing that at above 16,400, but it has been higher earlier today, at one stage above 16,460. The drop in the DAX futures ahead of the opening comes as both the Dow Jones and Nasdaq 100 futures eye the current and most recent geopolitical events with a little more disdain this morning it seems. The DAX futures are just now pricing the reopening at around 16,405
