DAX leads again and looks set to open higher this morning
Yesterday the DAX was the best performing major European stock market index and that saw it set a close above 22k. The DAX gained 0.47%, compared to a rise of 0.27% for the CAC 40 and just 0.5% for the FTSE 100. So, the DAX closed 102 points higher, at 22,064. The later gains stateside and the push higher across the US futures and gains in Asia today have all helped the opening outlook for the DAX this morning. Earlier, the DAX was priced to open close to 22,200. It has pared that opening call just now though, but right now the index is still set to open on the front foot this morning, currently at around 22,140
