DAX futures off their worst levels of the session
The monthly close for the DAX on Friday was not exactly impressive. The index closed last Friday at 15,386, which was below its 200 day moving average and that might have set up further downside yesterday too. The index closed at 15,247. In percentage terms, it was not the worst of the major European indexes, as that mantle belonged to the FTSE 100. Nevertheless, the DAX still handed back 0.91% on the day, closing with a loss of 139 points on the session. The DAX futures were pricing a reopening to as low as 15,095 earlier this morning, but they have since come off that low and are currently pricing it at around 15,170
