DAX futures slip ahead of the opening

Yesterday, as just covered here, when looking at the FTSE 100 price action, the major European stock markets all closed markedly lower. The DAX and the CAC 40 pretty much matched strides in that respect. The DAX handed back 1.44% and the CAC fell by 1.40%. The DAX fell to a session low at 17,713, before later closing 260 points lower, at 17,766. Earlier today the index future was pricing a reopening close to 17,825, but that is not the case right now. It is currently priced to open slightly lower, below 17,750 and it remains to be seen, if another rebound can kick in shortly, or if the index will take out the lows seen yesterday (17,713)
