DAX futures in the red this morning following record rise above 21k yesterday
The DAX made history yesterday, when it rose above 21k for the first time ever. The index reached a new record at 21,054. However, the index was unable to hold all that gain into the close, when it later ended the session at 20,990, with a gain of 86 points on the day. Prior to the melee in the Far East today, the DAX futures were pricing an opening towards 21,075, but since all that unfolded a few hours ago, that opening outlook has been reversed. At one stage the DAX was priced to open close to 20,850. It is still set for a lower opening shortly, just not as low as earlier. The DAX is right now priced to reopen around 20,930
