DAX futures pricing a record opening following a record close yesterday
As covered here at the time, the DAX charged above the 20,522 level and lifted above 20,600 setting a new all time high in the process. The index set a new all time high at 20,629 before later posting a new all time record close, at 20,574. Of course the surge in US stocks was behind this and lifted the DAX to levels not seen before. Overnight the DAX futures are understandably higher, given that record close. At one point the DAX was priced to reopen above 20,675. It has curbed the outlook a little just now, but as things stand, the index looks set for a record opening this morning, currently around 20,660
