DAX futures not asking for much so far this morning

It was not a very inspiring session for the major European stock markets yesterday. Everything closed in the red. The losses were slight though and the CAC 40 was the worst of the bunch in respect of the major indexes, with a loss of 0.24% on the day. The FTSE 100 closed 0.19% lower and the DAX ended almost unchanged, with a loss of just 0.8 of a point on the day. The index closed at 15,900. The losses stateside into the close, kept the DAX futures under wraps last night and there has not been much traction in terms of the opening outlook this morning. The index is currently set to open a little higher, but the failure to launch a serious attempt on the 16k handle again yesterday is a potential concern. The DAX topped out at 15,948 yesterday, as noted here later in the day. It had peaked at 15,952 on Friday. The DAX futures are currently pricing the opening today at around 15,920
