DAX futures a little higher just now this morning

Earlier this morning the DAX was pricing a lower opening. The index stalled above 23k yesterday, as noted at the time and the fall from a high at 23,137 was not especially impressive. The failure to hold 23k was not much of a surprise here, as once again that rotational dynamic kicked in again and the index fell back with the EUR/USD. As to who was leading the other was pretty clear to see- it was the DAX and it later dropped back to 22,813, before closing 39 points lower, at 22,852. As just noted, it was set to open lower again earlier, but the DAX futures are just now on the rebound into the opening. As to whether it can hold the lows seen yesterday is clearly in doubt and for clues on that I guess we keep a close eye on the EUR/USD again this morning. The DAX is currently priced to reopen around 22,890
