DAX futures higher this morning after record close yesterday- German ZEW in focus today

The DAX set a new all time record high yesterday, at 19,518 and it later closed the session above 19,500 for the first time ever, at 19,508. The record closes on Wall Street last night have helped to propel the DAX futures even higher so far today. The index is currently priced to reopen a little later on, at around 19,570, but of course that outlook might change between now and then. Also we have some important German data due this morning. That comes at 9am GMT and it is the latest ZEW economic sentiment index. This is expected to show a slight improvement, but more detail on that will follow after the DAX reopens later on.
