DAX futures higher this morning after 17k remained intact yesterday

Yesterday the DAX came perilously close to falling back into correction territory and a fall of 10% or more from the current 2024 high. As noted, in order to do that the index needed to fall below 17,002. The low seen yesterday was set at 17,024. The index later rebounded and closed the session at 17,339, with a loss of 322 points on the day. The gains in the Nikkei 225 today have helped all the European futures to advance this morning. The overall risk dynamic is therefore improved and that looks set to deliver a higher opening for the DAX in around 2 hours. The current indication on that is at around 17,430, but despite steadying the price action across all these markets remains fluid an on edge.
