DAX futures get a boost from US jump in recent trading
The DAX was the best performing major European stock market index yesterday. The DAX closed 4.53% higher, compared to a rise of 3.83% for the CAC 40 and 3.04% for the FTSE 100. The DAX closed 891 points higher, at 20,562. Since that close the DAX futures did price the opening for today as low as 20,150, but just now all the US futures have lurched markedly to the right and that has helped to lift the opening outlook for all the European stock markets. The DAX is currently priced to reopen around 20,820
