DAX falling ever closer to a test of 15k
Well, it did not happen last week, but already it looks increasingly likely this week and that is the prospect of the DAX having a look underneath 15k. The prospect of the BOJ stepping into the USD/JPY above 150 might have stopped the wider dollar from rising further this afternoon, but that is not helping the US stock markets and not helping European bourses much either. So, as the major European indexes head towards the close this afternoon, they are all coming under further pressure and that has now seen the DAX drop below 15,100. The FTSE 100 is just now on session lows too, as it dips below 7,470. The DAX is currently trading at around 15,090
