DAX eyeing a record opening this morning
As just covered in the previous update looking at the opening outlook for the FTSE 100 this morning, the DAX set yet more records yesterday. The index reached a new all time high, at 20,675. That high came earlier in the session and was noted here at the time. The index later set a new all time record daily close, at 20,655. It is set to open higher this morning, but so far not yet above 20,700. Of course the index is once again into uncharted territory and that makes for plotting any upside levels from here on, rather tricky to decipher. The only thing that can be pointed out at this stage is the existence of topside trend line resistance around 20,900 from here. The DAX is right now priced to reopen around 20,675
