DAX extends opening gains to above 18,575
Well, it sure was no surprise to see the DAX rise on the opening this morning and that was 100% baked in beforehand. However, so far the DAX has not looked back and it has extended the opening gains this morning and it is by some margin the best performing major index in the first hour of live trade. The DAX has just now risen to above 18,575 after reopening today at 18,533. The index had closed last night at 18,330. The DAX has actually just backed-off a bit, currently trading at 18,555
