DAX extends gains above 19,400
The DAX has continued to build on the higher opening today and now the index has advanced beyond the 19,400 mark. The index reopened today at 19,366 after closing yesterday at 19,261. The move higher has now extended further beyond its 21 and 50 day moving averages and the next level of note could be the November 25 high, at 19,468. That is not far off now, but could provide resistance, if this current move higher continues. The index has just now risen to session highs around 19,425. It is just now trading at 19,420
