DAX edging higher from a lower opening today
The European equity markets have been open for around 20 minutes now and it has been a less certain start to the day. The DAX, which had set a record close last night, at 24,036, reopened lower today, at 23,966. The low seen so far has been set close to 23,950, but it is attempting to lift from that low just now, as the US futures also attempt a similar recovery from earlier lows. That said, there is little traction across those markets just yet. The DAX is just now trading at 23,980
