DAX edging ever closer to 16k
Since an update here earlier today noted the push higher in the DAX, above a previously noted interim high, at 15,952, the index has been grinding higher and ever closer to the coveted 16k handle. It has not gotten there yet, but right now it almost looks magnetic. Naturally, this is a huge level for the DAX and one that is sure to be sticky at immediate levels either side of it. So, even if the DAX does manage to poke its way above 16k that might not deliver a sustained drive higher, but we might soon find out. The index is just now trading at 15,990
