DAX edges higher in early trading to set new records above 18,513
The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been a positive start to the new month and quarter. The DAX set a record high last week at 18,513. Well, it has just now reopened above where it closed on Thursday, at 18,492 and in the process set a fresh record high above that 18,513 level. The FTSE 100 is edging towards that 8k level in early trading, after it also kicked off on the front foot this morning. The DAX is now probing levels above 18,540, as it sets fresh records in early trading
