DAX edges to fresh session lows as the CAC 40 stalls above 8,200
The DAX did recover an early session fall to 22,507 after reopening at 22,526 then rising to as high as 22,609. However, it has not been able to hold that rebound and it is right now falling back towards that earlier session low. So, as you can see, the index failed to set a new record high above 22,624 earlier on. The drop right now comes as the CAC 40 also reverses an earlier move to 8,212. The US futures are still all in the red right now and that has added some downside traction to both indexes as the latest US retail sales data looms in around 30 minutes. The DAX is right now on fresh session lows, currently trading at 22,505
