DAX drops back on the opening as Nasdaq 100 futures slide

The European stock markets have just reopened and it has been a lower start to the day for all the major indexes. The FTSE 100 has fallen below 8,150 and endorsed the outlook noted here a couple of updates ago. The CAC is lower too and the DAX has fallen back below 18,450.  The DAX closed yesterday at 18,518, with a loss of 72 points on the day. The index had traded to a low at 18,448 yesterday and it has just now surpassed that low on the opening this morning. The fall this morning comes as the Nasdaq 100 futures take a hit, falling back towards 20,200 in recent trading after ASML results disappoint. However, the DAX is attempting to rebound just now, but it remains to be seen if that rebound has lasting legs. The index is currently  trading at 18,490
