The DAX does not care as it rises to another record
The US equity markets are off to an uncertain start to the final live trading session of the week, but meantime over here in Europe, the DAX does not give two hoots about that, because it has just now lifted to a new all time high. The index has surpassed the previous record, at 16,727 and lifted close to 16,740 a short while ago. I am not sure what has driven that in particular and it certainly does not seem to be stateside driven right now either. That said, the US equity markets are now paring their initial opening losses. The DAX is just now trading at 16,735
