DAX disappoints on the opening
Well, the DAX did reopen higher this morning, but not by as much as earlier indicated from the futures prices. The index reopened at 16,727 and set a high at 16,734, before then slipping back underneath 16,700. Consequently, it has been a rather underwhelming resumption of live trading. However, the day is still young, so there is potential for a reversal, despite this less than impressive start to the day. The index is just now on the rebound, currently trading at 16,730
