DAX currently set for a slightly higher opening today
The DAX closed on Friday at 19,210, with a loss of 52 points on the day. Earlier in the session the index fell to 19,121. The price action overnight in the DAX futures has been rather volatile and that is all due to the latest geopolitical news emerging since the weekend. That could deliver more of the same, when the index reopens later this morning. The current outlook is broadly positive for now, but this can very soon change. The market price action today is looking like it could be very much headline driven in the absence of anything else. The DAX is right now priced to resume live trading at around 19,275
